Discovery Partnerships with Academia (DPAc)

Discovery Fast Track Challenge.

An opportunity for academic researchers to win a partnership with GSK—helping to turn novel drug discovery concepts into new medicines.

New ideas are essential to the development of drugs that save human lives and improve the quality of life. Often these ideas are generated by principal investigators at research institutes, colleges or universities that lack the resources needed to help turn these concepts into new medicines.

That’s why the Discovery Fast Track Challenge is so important.

During the challenge, principal investigators are invited to submit a one-page, non-confidential proposal that is evaluated by an expert panel of judges.

When a concept is chosen, a team of GSK scientists will collaborate with the principal investigator to screen the target‑sharing key results and providing high-quality chemical probes for further exploration. Promising results could lead to a DPAc agreement.
